Community Service is an Avenue of Service which encourages Rotarians to offer service to their communities. Every Rotary club and every Rotarian assumes a responsibility to find ways to improve the quality of life for those in their communities and to serve the public interest.

St. Kilda Mums
- To promote the welfare of human beings in the community: (the disabled, the elderly, hunger, poverty, health education, parenting education, crime/violence prevention etc).
- To deal with issues relating to the physical state of the community: (community centres, health facilities, infrastructure improvement, parks and recreational facilities, schools, etc).
- Look at threats to the environment: (beautification, energy resource protection/promotion, soil conservation etc.)
