In November 2024 a World of Difference(WOD) tour took place with 40 VicPol legatees carrying out project work at the school and in surrounding projects around Siem Reap.  The tour was led by Rotarian members of WOD but a significant proportion of the project work was done in the preceeding months by WFC enabling the VicPol Legatees and WOD leaders to asses the work and also carry out some minor project work including painting the toilet block and interacting with the students and teachers at the School.  The Legatees also donated basic school equipment to the children and carry out dental hygiene and other school activities

Rotarians Bronwyn Stephens(BS), Mark Stephens(MS) (Brighton North) and Katrina Flinn(KF) (Rotary Hawthorn) together with the WOD Committee and Brighton North International Committee were involved with the project with Bronwyn and Katrina being in country WOD leaders during the VicPol Legatees tour in November 2024. Considerable planning was undertaken by KF with WFC prior to the November trip by VicPol Legatees.  This planning also involved meetings with Legatee participants as an important part of the project was mentoring the participants in such activities and fundraising undertook by the participants to support other projects in Cambodia.  As well, a number of the Legatees were returning to Cambodia to undertake more hands-ons activities including activities at the Prey Torteung Primary School.

The cost of $24,000 was possible with the aid of a District International Grant from the Rotary Foundation.
