The District Foundation Committee have approved an International Grant to focus on Basic Education and Literacy/Water, Sanitation and Hygiene at the Thmor Chul School in Cambodia.

We also received notice that a Global Grant was approved for the Construction of Washroom Toilets in Cambodia.  Brighton North is part of the consortium which also includes D9800 clubs of Port Phillip, Melbourne Central, Chadstone East Malvern and Balwyn.

We are now able to report that a very successful visit to Timor-Leste has been completed on behalf of the Consortium to view the progress made over the past two years on this Project. 

‘Rotary SAFE Families’ was established in 2018 to help stop all forms of family violence by addressing its underlying causes.  It has evolved into a national program with valuable resources and tools including short films, Manual, Toolkit, translated information to assist every Rotarian in every part of Australia
