Mr Andrzej Soszynski, 

Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Poland

Mr. Andrzej Soszyński has Polish and Australian citizenship. He graduated in financial management from the Queensland Institute of Technology (QIT) in 1982, and in 1998 he completed a postgraduate course in marketing and management at the Macquarie Postgraduate School of Management in Sydney. He is currently retired.

His professional career was associated with Caltex Australia, where he has held managerial positions for the last 20 years. Mr. Andrzej Soszyński is the former president of the Union of Poles in Hobart, Tasmania, before moving to Victoria in 1995. As an active Polish community activist in Melbourne, in 1997 he was the chairman and in 2016 a member of the organizing committee of the biggest festival of Polish culture in the southern hemisphere, "PolArt", which was held in Melbourne in those years.
