Yimba Project, Uganda - an example of Rotary Grants process

In 2013 Emmanuel met young Australian Anne-Marie and together they founded a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) called Yimba Uganda.

Yimba has continued to grow over the years and gone on to train hundreds of vulnerable youth in vocational training courses such as Music, Tailoring Fashion and Design, Hair and Beauty and Agriculture. In 2021 Yimba Uganda received a Global Grant from the Rotary Club of Brighton and together trained 40 youths in Music and Tailoring and also provided training and reusable menstrual hygiene pads to 1,200 Ugandan school girls.
