Andrew Bruun CEO Youth Support + Advocacy Service
Andrew Bruun is the Chief Executive Officer at Youth Support+ Advocacy Service (YSAS) and an Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Department of Psychiatry. Andrew has been active in the alcohol and other drug and adolescent health fields as a manager, practitioner, researcher and educator since 1985.
Andrew is the Acting President of the Southern Saints Netball Club, and they complete in the Victorian Netball League and represent Melbourne’s Bayside Area. We have an affiliation with the St Kilda Football Club who provide us with ‘in kind’ support but we are a separate entity.
At the Southern Saints we are seeking to develop a more meaningful connection with the local Aboriginal community (the Bunurong people), encouraging participation in netball and supporting a pathway for local Indigenous players. One way to do this is to offer netball clinics and specialist coaching/mentoring for local Aboriginal players and coaches.
Brighton North Rotary have made a $500 donation to the Netball Club and have offered to share a Bunnings BBQ to fundraise to further support the Club.
