The Double-Life of Angela J Dawson

Meet the author and hear about the practical side crafting a writing career.

Since 2017, Angela J Dawson has been living a double life, writing books whilst moonlighting as a hospital based Physiotherapist.  She is the author of a music biography, Like Two Mexicans Dancing (2017), and the Australian feel good fiction book, Red (2022) set in the pre-internet Nineties; a humorous story with a dash of love, sex and flying.  

While a member of Rotary Brighton North, Angela was renown for being our "most colourful member and resident poet", but is now mapping-out her new future as an author.

Angela is delighted to attend Rotary for an informal chat about juggling two lives, writing comedy in a pandemic, the process of creative inspiration, and how to bring it all together into a book.
