Ross Nancarrow – Rotary
Hi, I’m Ross. Born in 1956, I am a Rotarian with Port Macquarie Rotary. I am blessed to be married to Donna, an incredibly loving and kind-hearted Nurse and Midwife. Together, we have four wonderful children—three sons and one daughter—all married and adding to our joy with nine grandchildren (so far).
I am a Christian minister with a long-standing career in the not-for-profit sector, beginning in 1985. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working both in Australia and internationally, collaborating with diverse cultural groups. Donna and I spent over a year living in Bangalore, India, where we contributed to community development projects across the country.
Currently, I serve as the Executive Director of International Mission Ministries (IMM) and Every Daughter Matters works to combat human trafficking, particularly along the Nepal-India border, intercepting and rescuing young girls at risk of being trafficked.
Among the many roles I have held, being ‘grandpa’ is by far my favorite. Spending time with my children and grandchildren is a true joy. I also feel closest to God when I’m by the ocean and especially love walking along the beach with Donna.
Interests: I enjoy spending time with good friends over coffee, going fishing, golfing, or hitting the gym. One of my favorite sayings is: “Life is too short to drink bad coffee or bad wine!”
