ROMAC - A Great Rotary Story

ROMAC is the acronym for “Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children” and is a combined Australian and New Zealand initiative. It was commenced out of the actions of a single Rotarian in March in1988.
Reading Progam at Brighton PS

Brighon North's reading program at Brighton Primary School has been running since Term 4, 2012.
The benefits of children reading aloud, in an one on one environment, is beneficial to their skills and to their confidence!

An Amazing Story of RAAF Airmen's Rescue!

Our guest speaker, Tom Trumble has lived his whole life in Melbourne, and has worked in journalism, policy development, copywriting and book retailing. He has studied music, history and journalism, and is also the author of Unholy Pilgrims.
Tom shared the story of his grandfather's rescue in 1942, which he has written about in his latest book 'Rescue at 2100 hours'
Past President's Reminiscing 1996-97
This week Past President Phil Wheatley shared the highlights of his Presidential Year 1996-97.
It was the year the Youth Suicide Awareness program was initiated and a testament to Phil is that it is still a major program within our Club and D9800.
A Dance with a Difference!

The Town Hall dance held last evening was a dance with a difference, with Andrew Portelli showcasing his 'Tribute to Elvis'.
