Dr David Dangerfield is an Australian-based health professional. David is trained as a Urologist and has a practice located in Armadale.

President Russell opened the meeting and welcomed a large number of guests, including the guest speaker Mr David Dangerfield, inductee Malcolm Baird and wife Elizabeth, Richard Warner, and regular partners and friends Petra, Di, Jan, Janice, Kaye, Bill and Trevor.

The club golf trip this year was held on the Mornington Peninsula staying at the new Portsea Golf Club Resort.

A very good attendance of members and a number of guests were present for an informative and enjoyable meeting.

Peter Killey (heading up Foundation this year) proudly announced that Brighton North has supported  Foundation's END POLIO NOW campagn with a further donation of $1,400

Brighton North Rotary members who had hosted the team all attended their farewell.

Sunday 23March2014 saw Brighton North Rotary once again in selfless action to assist a great cause.

Due to the large number of members away, this week’s guest speaker was postponed to a later date.  Twenty-one people still made a lot of noise, had lots of laughs, as well as an insightful video screened.

Andre Selton of Scouts Victoria has had a long family association with the Scouting movement.

His passion for and promotion of the Scouting movement, especially in underdeveloped countries, showed how Scouting can provide leadership to young people for the benefit of their communities.

Brighton North had four members representing them at the D9800 Conference at the Gold Coast over the long weekend.

Our first taste of a Brighton North working bee at Camp Getaway at Axedale was a resounding success, both in what we achieved and as a fellowship event. The Camp is owned by our District 9800 so RCBN effectively owns 1/69th!

We shared many fun moments with our visiting team from Germany, so now you can share them too!

A great atmosphere was created when guests wore a 'little green' to celebrate an early St Patrick's Day at our March dance at the Brighton Town Hall!  We danced to the lively music of The Howie Brothers Band with guests sharing a fun filled evening!

Our April dance is on Saturday 19 April 2014 - same time, same place - see you there!  More details later.

Three Bayside residents were presented with Vocational Excellence Awards by the Brighton North Rotary on the 26 February, 2014. The Vocational Excellence Award recognizes individuals who live or work in the Bayside community, excel in their profession or business, exhibit high ethical standards, and enrich the local community.

In the absence of a guest speaker the meeting, chaired by President Russell, became a catch-up session, with program champions updating members on their progress, plus a glimpse of future events and fundraisers.
