D9800 Conference a great success!

Brighton North had four members representing them at the D9800 Conference at the Gold Coast over the long weekend.

RCBN Working Bee at Camp Getaway!

Our first taste of a Brighton North working bee at Camp Getaway at Axedale was a resounding success, both in what we achieved and as a fellowship event. The Camp is owned by our District 9800 so RCBN effectively owns 1/69th!

We shared many fun moments with our visiting team from Germany, so now you can share them too!
Fun had by all at the Brighton Town Hall Dance!

A great atmosphere was created when guests wore a 'little green' to celebrate an early St Patrick's Day at our March dance at the Brighton Town Hall! We danced to the lively music of The Howie Brothers Band with guests sharing a fun filled evening!
Our April dance is on Saturday 19 April 2014 - same time, same place - see you there! More details later.
2014 Vocational Excellence Award

Three Bayside residents were presented with Vocational Excellence Awards by the Brighton North Rotary on the 26 February, 2014. The Vocational Excellence Award recognizes individuals who live or work in the Bayside community, excel in their profession or business, exhibit high ethical standards, and enrich the local community.

Brighton Town Hall Dances Commence!

The Brighton Town Hall looked very festive with tables decorated with a 'touch of red'!
Many guests also took up the invitation to wear some red which contributed to a great atmosphere!

This camp site, owned by all Clubs in D9800 is 'for people of all abilities and mobility'.
Ken had the idea and is still as enthusiastic some 13 years later!

Our annual Beach BBQ held on Dendy Beach - Box No 60 was also attended by our DG Ross Butterworh.
We all enjoyed the good company of members, partners and friends, plus excellent food!

The Rotary Club of Williamstown are holding a 'Long Brunch' on the 9Feb14 to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer.

RYLA - (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) participant Tim Astengo with leaders Jacqui Birchall and Jess Roberts, who were previous RYLA participants sponsored by RCBN, shared with us what it meant to attend and lead the RYLA camp in November13.
