Members braved Melbourne's heat to attend our second meeting of the year!

Our own Peter Harris and President, Russell Brewer, shared their passion for their MG cars and gave us some insight into the MG Car club to which they both belong.

Our first meeting of the year was a relaxed gathering of members!  Thanks to scribe Jeff in my absence.

President Russell had the pleasure of inducting our new member, Mia Hall, at our Christmas celebration.

Members and friends gathered at Victoria Golf Club to celebrate Christmas with a fun filled party!

Kay Phillip's sister Ann Petherick and her husband Noel joined our Christmas Function at Victoria Golf Club.  Ann presented President Russell with a banner from her Club in New Zealand.

President Russell welcomed all, especially two guests of Christina’s – Marike Hoving a friend and a past Rotarian in the Netherlands and Canada, Marg Quinn the co-ordinator of the reading program at Brighton Primary School and Robert Warner, Chris’s son.

Members of our Club have been volunteering at Brighton Primary School this year listening to children read. Marg Quinn, coordinator of the program, gave us feedback from the teachers and kids.

Our guest speaker was no guest, but one of our charter members – Geoff Brearley.  Geoff, who is a Champion for Ambulance Victoria, gave us a run-down on how to perform CPR and took us through the Four Steps for Life program.

Members of our Club once again volunteered at the annual Variety Club Christmas Party for children.

Our Club is donating ten 'LifeStraw Family' to the Philippines.

Our Committee Chairs gave updates on projects within their area of service.

Our candidates at the 2013 RYLA camp are Tim Astengo and Stephanie Warner.

AGM - The formal motions were raised, seconded, put to a vote and supported.

The Rotary club of Livonia, Michigan in America helped out Christina's Mum last weekend.

Our Guest speaker Ann Barton, is the great granddaughter of Sir Edmund Barton, Australia's first Prime Minister.  Ann shared some of his story which she has been researching in recent times.
