During her visit she met with Dr Amande Singh, the Malaria Health Organiser and Dr Wesley Donald, Head of the World Health Organisation, to discuss financial commitments. She met with the Port Vila Rotary Club to assess the need for Australian volunteers’ involvement in assisting that club with the elimination of malaria in Vanuatu. Virginia also attended Port Vila Rotary Club meetings, where she received a club banner to be passed on to our club.
