Tree Planting
Past Rotary International President, Ian Riseley, challenged every Rotarian to plant at least one tree as a project to build a more sustainable planet.
Hampton Rotary took up the challenge in 2019 and organised a tree planting on the foreshore near Red Bluff. The exercise was assisted by Citywide, the Bayside Council horticultural service providers. Except for 2020 (Covid), we have continued with this challenge
Bayside Rotary Clubs are again organising another tree planting morning in conjunction with Citywide and we invite you and your friends to join us.
Details are as follows: -
When – Saturday, 4 June, 2022.
Where - Car park B6 which is on the north side of Sandringham Football Oval. (Melway Map 76 F7).
Time - 10.00am to 12 noon.
There is no cost involved.
If you are interested in attending please notify Malcolm Baird by May 31st so sufficient trees and plants can be supplied by Citywide.
