Any support you can offer would be much appreciated.

Fact of the Week
Christina presented the most unusual FOW!! Being a vet she chose a fact about an animal. Why is wombat poo shaped like a cube….? The answer….because it sits in the intestine for 14+ days!!
Helene Zhang & Emma Holbrook – Year 9 students from St Leonard's College
The students presented on a project they are involved in at St Leonard's. There are 20 students busily fundraising for their Vocational trip to Vietnam in November. Each student needs to raise $300 which will be put towards building material to rebuild a home for a family in the village where the students will be staying. The students will be ‘labourers’ on the project.
During their community studies Emma volunteered at Bayley House and Helene volunteered at the Australian Migrant Edu Services with reading and writing skills. Their urban studies involved excursions in the city with homelessness one of the issues raised through Melbourne City Mission. Their environmental studies involved planting trees and a beach clean-up. These studies were in preparation for their trip to Vietnam.
