2019 Christmas Party

Brighton North Rotary’s Xmas Party was attended by 68 revellers, variously dressed in Xmas theme.

Guests were welcomed by newest member Shawn Cosgrove, experienced raconteur and MC for the evening,  who shared several Xmas jokes with us, and then handed the meeting over to President John.

John welcomed all members and partners and guests and was very confident that everyone would have a great time for the ensuing several hours of merriment.

John also thanked RBYC for their usual professional conduct around our meetings, and gave a gift to Pai, RYBC Events Manager,  to share with his staff.

Father Xmas arrived resplendent in his red suit, and promptly sat down.  He then invited any ladies who wanted a cosmetics gift from Santa to sit on his lap for a happy snap.  A big basket of chocolates was also shared by the guys in the room. 

The highlight of the evening was a band comprised of husband and wife team, Buddy England and his beautiful singer wife Catherine.  Singing songs we all knew, and lots of tunes to dance to, made for an amazing, fun filled night to remember for Brighton North Rotary.
