Star Thrower Project
Rotary Bendigo's Starthrower Women's Wellbeing Experience has grown wings.
As well as continuing to host women still out of their homes after the devastating floods in Rochester in October 2022, we have extended an invitation for women impacted by the catastrophic bushfire in February 2024 in Pomonal to also be supported by our wonderful Starthrower team in Point Lonsdale/Queenscliff to enjoy a relaxing break away from the day to day trauma.

Starthrower is only possible because of the financial generosity of Rotary Foundation - Rotary District 9800, Brighton North Rotary, Rotary Bendigo and the sponsorships in Point Lonsdale/Queenscliff.
Rotary Club of Rochester also assists us in many ways. The Starthrower Team on the ground in Point Lonsdale/Queenscliff is beyond amazing.
We welcome Rotary Ararat and Ararat Rural City Council on board as we embark on this expansion.
